Shout Out to Public Lands
|
A huge TRAS thank you goes out to Public Lands and Public Lands Fund for awarding TRAS a generous grant for a new Monique mono ski, top of the line skis, bindings and binding block system! A special thanks goes to Jessie Chastain, Public Lands' Community Outreach and Education Lead who spearheaded the grant process and the fabulous addition to the TRAS Ski Program equipment inventory. Thanks also to Public Lands' Scott Webb and Jesse Kindelberger for their support with the grant.
The new, state of the art, mono ski has been put to good use on the slopes of Hidden Valley. Keep an eye out for TRAS skiers using this wonderful piece of technology to shred the mountain during our ski program! |

TRAS Vision Statement
Our goal is to be more inclusive and a better part of the rehabilitation process and community integration. We will strengthen our bonds with local health organizations so we can serve as a resource while also benefiting from their experience and expertise. We will expand our programs to include opportunities for exercise, sports training, health information and wellness techniques. This will enable us to serve as a launch pad for individuals to continue to enjoy recreation and sports with friends and family.
