Our Vision
Our goal is to be more inclusive and a better part of the rehabilitation process and community integration. We will strengthen our bonds with local health organizations so we can serve as a resource while also benefiting from their experience and expertise. We will expand our programs to include opportunities for exercise, sports training, health information and wellness techniques. This will enable us to serve as a launch pad for individuals to continue to enjoy recreation and sports with friends and family.
Our Mission
To promote quality of life, education and to provide quality year-round sports and recreation opportunities for people with disabilities, their families and friends. Our Core Values I) To support the belief that sports, recreation and physical fitness are an important part of everyone 's life. 2) When sports and recreation are an integral part of the adjustment process, we believe that people with disabilities can gain the self-confidence, independence and a sense of accomplishment that they can apply to other areas of their lives. 3) That these attributes in turn promote education, employment and social development. 4) To help people turn tragedy into triumph and to learn that it is not their disability that counts, only their ability. 5) To stand behind the idea---"If I can do this, I can do anything" |
